Brett & Lela: A Reflection

Mansa Musa was the ninth mansa (or king) of the Mali Empire, a vast and powerful empire located in West Africa from the 13th century to the 17th century. Musa is believed by some historians to be the richest man in history with an estimated worth of 400 billion dollars (https://htschool.hindustantimes.com). Much of his wealth was in gold(https://upfront.scholastic.com). That is a lot of gold! However, we believe that there are other ways to have “gold” in your life. Two of the most significant ways are finding the right spouse through God’s direction and being able to spend years serving HIM together (our 50 years have been great!). To be, as long as God allows, inseparable!
